Katrina Recovery

Many trips have been taken to the Gulf Coast to assist in the recovery effort following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The tips have focused on demolition, sanitation/treatment, rebuilding, and outreach. Some members have spent weeks on end assisting in the process. Most of our trips consist of a weekend trip to the area in need. There we meet with the families whom we will be helping. Saturday is spent helping in whichever capacity is needed for the family (i.e. roofing, clearing brush, sheetrock work, painting, electric work, etc.) We have many more trips scheduled for each remaining month in 2007. There is still a large need for unskilled labor. So don't think it's too late to help out. Please join us is Rebuilding our beautiful Gulf Coast.!
