UMW
The organized unit of United Methodist
Women shall be a community of women
whose purpose is to know God and
to experience freedom as whole persons
through Jesus Christ; to develop
a creative, supportive fellowship;
and to expand concepts of mission
through participation in the global
ministries of the church.
Joining this group of committed
women is a unique opportunity—no
matter who you are or where in your
life you are at this moment—to
move in harmony with other women
who have been responding to this
Purpose since 1869.
Circles of Love
A circle is ongoing and never ending.
A circle comes in many sizes, and
the United Methodist Women are unique
in our unity and diversity. Our
connective structure encompasses
the work of over one million United
Methodist Women around the world.
Our basic guides are the Bible,
the Book of Discipline, Social Principles,
Policy Statements from the Women's
Division, and our Handbooks.
The UMW Unit of First United Methodist
Church has three Circles. Each circle
meets once a month. The Unit meets
quarterly.
- Circles I and II –
Meets 4th Tuesday each month at
10:00 am in the church parlor.
- Inez Crain
Circle – Meets 2nd Tuesday
each month at 7:00 pm
- Susanna Wesley

each month at 6:30 pm.

All men are invited to join in at
