Delta Grace

Delta Grace is a multi-denominational, faith-based organization that matches mission teams with those in need of home repairs. Santa's Soup Kitchen

Join us for Santa's Soup Kitchen each Monday in November, 11am - 1pm.
We will have varieties of soups & desserts prepared by different Sunday School Classes. This years donations will benefit Ever Reaching Community Outreach (ERCO) in Pelahatchie, MS.

Operation Christmas Child

This year we are hosting a church-wide packing event on November 8th at 6pm. We have set a goal of packing 500 Shoeboxes. There are three ways to help achieve this goal: by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List, giving  monetary donations for shipping and supplies, and coming to help pack the shoeboxes.

Every shoebox filled is an expression of God’s love and helps show a child His love. The boxes are filled with toys, hygiene products, or school supplies. The boxes are shipped to children all across the world and will arrive in time for Christmas!

Angel Tree

Each year we help provide Christmas for children at the Methodist Children’s Home & Bethlehem Center.
Angel Trees will be located in both the Main Lobby & Family Life Center Lobby.
Angel Tree gifts are due by Dec. 10th.

The aim of the Methodist Cursillo is to bring Christians to a fuller personal knowledge of their relationship to Lord Jesus Christ, and to develop a deeper level of apostleship and commitment.
Cursillo is a program that calls forth and renews Christian discipleship. Cursillo is a 3 day experience, Thursday night through Sunday afternoon. It is a highly structured weekend designed to strengthen and renew the faith of Christians, and through them their families, congregations, and the world in which they live. During Cursillo, one will live and study together in singing, prayer, worship, and discussion. One will experience God’s grace personally through the prayers and acts of service of a living support community.
There are seven Cursillo weekend most years, five at Camp Wesley Pines.
Any adult interested may attend. You will get a local church Cursillo member to sponsor you. The cost is $185.00 for the weekend. Betsy Welch is the Brandon First UMC Cursillo leader. We have many members of our church who attended Cursillo. We are all happy to share bits of our experience with you and encourage you to attend.
